The Experience
We are simply here for what happens on your wedding day; more of a fly on the wall documentary approach means we capture meaningful moments in an artful way that truly remind you of how special your day was and how much you actually enjoyed it. We aren’t here to turn your wedding day into a full on photoshoot and we want to capture things as they are, still get those family, couple, and wedding party shots as efficiently as we can if applicable and HAVE FUN and have it show in the photos!

You will get ALL of your best images from your wedding day, not just a specified amount (At LEAST 60 images per hour). I want you to come as you are and I will capture the moments as they are, and we will create art of your legacy as a couple, and your family and friends sharing in those moments with you.
We’re passionate about creating emotional, timeless images, with rich true to life colors and mood. My couples value unique images that tell their story and most importantly, value a strong marriage!

From Katie: Film is a special and sentimental part of my approach. I love throwing caution to the wind and risking it for that biscuit to get AMAZING moments on film. I don’t like to play it safe. That’s what the second photographer is for ;) While they are capturing all the solid (and BEAUTIFUL / IMPORTANT don’t get me wrong) digital photos, I’m making art on film whether it’s medium format 120, professional 35mm, disposables, light leaks, black and white film, polaroids, you name it, let’s make it worthwhile and create some crazy fun photos! Digital is also a hugely important part of my work. Anyone who tells you you can’t make insanely beautiful art on digital cameras is lying to you! Some of my all time favorite images are from my digital cameras.
