Best Wedding Venues in Southern Oregon
I have been a wedding photographer in Southern Oregon for almost 10 years now. I have photographed tons of beautiful weddings at all sorts of venues. I wanted to write this blog post to compile a nice comprehensive list of quite a few of the wedding venues I’ve had the pleasure of working at throughout the years. Enjoy and hopefully it’s a helpful resource! Please note these are not listed in any particular order!
Vista 222 - Grants Pass, Oregon
The views at Vista 222 are truly breathtaking — modern style buildings meet beautiful lush farm country, rolling vineyards, and all the forest and mountain views. Perched on a mountainside in the Applegate Valley overlooking 70 acres of vineyard, the venue gives you an incredible mix of sleek, contemporary architecture against a totally natural, wine-country backdrop. I love photographing here because there's so much variety on the property — from vineyard rows for portraits to the open lawn framed by lilac bushes for the ceremony — every angle offers a completely different feel, all set against those sweeping mountain views.
2. Edgewater Christian Fellowship - Grants Pass, Oregon
For those who identify with Christianity / follow Jesus, Edgewater Christian Fellowship is a beautiful church atop a hill with stunning mountain views and a lush grassy lawn for outdoor ceremonies when weather permits! Perched above Grants Pass, the property offers some of the best panoramic views in the area, making it an incredible backdrop for both ceremony and portrait shots. I love that it gives couples the option of a classic, meaningful indoor ceremony inside the sanctuary, or an outdoor setting on the hillside lawn with the whole valley spread out behind them — either way, it's a gorgeous, faith-centered spot to say "I do."
3. Orchard Home B&B - Medford, Oregon
Orchard Home Bed & Breakfast has such a nice, quaint cottage-like feel to it, and the landscaping on the property is absolutely amazing with all kinds of lush garden foliage, flowers, and native Oregon plants. One of my favorite spots on the property is the lily pad pond, where ceremonies often take place — it's such a sweet touch when the fountains turn on right as the couple shares their first kiss. Nestled between the pear orchards and a historic 1913 home, this Medford venue gives you such a romantic, storybook feel in every photo, no matter the season.
4. Roxy Ann Winery / Hillcrest Orchards - Medford, Oregon
Roxy Ann Winery at Hillcrest Orchard is so stunning, with gorgeous views of Medford's mountains, orchards, and amazing landscaping. Set on 240+ acres of vineyards and century-old pear orchards at the foot of Roxy Ann Peak, the property gives you so much variety to work with — sweeping mountain backdrops, rows of vines, and charming historic buildings all in one place. I love photographing weddings here because the light through the orchard rows in the late afternoon is absolutely magical, and there's always a new corner of the grounds to discover for portraits. It's the kind of venue that makes every shot feel like it belongs in a magazine.
5. The Tiger Lily Inn - Jacksonville, Oregon
The Tiger Lily Inn is another beautiful, quaint cottage-like venue very close to downtown Jacksonville. I love that you can get both the stunning landscaped grounds in your images and then you can also venture into the town to get some vibey cityscape photos. The charming garden setting is full of little nooks and blooming greenery that photograph beautifully in soft, natural light, and since it's so close to Jacksonville's historic streets, you get incredible variety in a single wedding — romantic garden portraits paired with that old-town charm just a short walk away. It's such a fun venue to shoot because no two galleries ever look the same.
6. Hummingbird Estate - Central Point, Oregon
The Hummingbird Estate is a stunning vineyard venue set on a hill above the Rogue Valley, just outside historic Jacksonville. I love photographing here because the golden hour light over the vines and rolling hills makes for absolutely dreamy sunset portraits, and the elegant 1926 mansion adds such a romantic, timeless backdrop for getting-ready shots. With sweeping lawns, manicured gardens, and panoramic valley views, there's no shortage of gorgeous spots to capture every part of the day.
7. Rogue River Lodge - Trail, Oregon
Rogue River Lodge is a rustic-chic riverside venue tucked along the banks of the Rogue River in Trail, offering that perfect blend of woodsy charm and elegant celebration space. I love photographing here because the river makes for such a gorgeous natural backdrop, whether you're capturing golden-hour portraits along the water or cozy details in the lodge's warm, cabin-style rooms. It's an intimate setting that feels like a true escape into nature, and it never fails to give couples that dreamy, riverside wedding they pictured.
8. Teapot on Wheels - Gold Hill, Oregon
The Teapot on Wheels is a charming riverside venue in Gold Hill, set right on the banks of the Rogue River with lush, park-like grounds. I love photographing here because the ceremony spot down by the water gives such a stunning natural backdrop, with the river and hills rolling out behind the couple. There's also a whimsical bridal suite for gorgeous getting-ready shots, and the mix of green lawns, water views, and charming tea-house details gives every wedding its own storybook feel.
9. Lithia Park - Ashland, Oregon
Lithia Park is a 93-acre gem right in downtown Ashland, offering couples a beautiful mix of natural landscapes all in one location — think rose gardens, a Japanese garden, and creekside forest paths. I love photographing here because there's so much variety within walking distance, giving you lush garden portraits one minute and whimsical, woodsy shots the next, all with that classic Ashland charm.
10. Pacifica - A Garden in the Siskiyous - Williams, Oregon
Pacifica: A Garden in the Siskiyous is a truly unique, 420-acre nature reserve and botanic garden nestled in the Applegate Valley near Williams. I love photographing weddings here because the Wedding Garden overlooks a peaceful pond and meadow with sweeping views of Grayback Mountain, giving you that perfect blend of intimate garden charm and big, natural mountain scenery. It's such a magical, nature-immersed setting, and having both indoor and outdoor spaces means the light and backdrops are gorgeous rain or shine.
11. The Lindsay Lodge - Applegate Valley, Oregon
The Lindsay Lodge is a riverfront gem tucked in the Applegate Valley near Jacksonville, built from hand-skinned pine, fir, and redwood logs for that authentic, rustic lodge feel. I love photographing here because the river views and the historic Pioneer Bridge in the backdrop give such a warm, natural setting, whether you're capturing balcony portraits or shots in the lush courtyard. Surrounded by some of Southern Oregon's best wineries and farmland, it's a beautiful, laid-back venue that photographs just as well up close as it does with the valley stretched out behind you.
12. Rogue Valley Country Club - Medford, Oregon
Rogue Valley Country Club is a polished, elegant venue in East Medford, set against its 27-hole golf course with sweeping views of the Siskiyou Mountains. I love photographing here because you get such a nice contrast between the manicured greens and the mountain backdrop, giving portraits a clean, classic country club feel. With both indoor ballroom space and an outdoor terrace, it's a versatile venue that works beautifully whether you're going for a formal, elegant look or something a bit more relaxed outdoors.
13. Secret Beach - Brookings, Oregon
Secret Beach isn't your typical wedding venue — it's a hidden gem tucked within the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor along the Southern Oregon Coast, reached by a short hike down through the forest. I love photographing here for elopements and intimate ceremonies because the dramatic sea stacks, rugged cliffs, and crashing waves create such a wild, romantic backdrop unlike anything else in the region. It's the perfect spot for couples who want an adventurous, off-the-beaten-path feel to their wedding day, with views that feel almost private no matter the time of year. 14. Edenvale Winery - Medford, Oregon
Edenvale Winery, home to the historic Voorhies Mansion, sits on a 37-acre estate in Medford surrounded by pear orchards, vineyards, and Italian-style gardens dating back to 1925. I love photographing here because the Rose Garden is such an intimate, romantic spot for portraits, with its stone walls and blooming vines, while the mansion's front steps and fountain give you a totally different, grand backdrop for the ceremony. With mountain views, historic architecture, and lush greenery all on one property, it's such a versatile venue for capturing every style of wedding.
15. Belle Fiore Winery - Ashland, Oregon
Belle Fiore Estate & Winery is a French château-inspired venue in Ashland, complete with grand stone columns and sweeping staircases set among 50 acres of vineyards. I love photographing here because the outdoor terrace and gardens give you those stunning Rogue Valley views, while the elegant chateau architecture makes for such a romantic, Old World backdrop for portraits. It's the kind of venue that feels like a European destination wedding without ever leaving Southern Oregon, and the light over the vineyards in the evening is absolutely gorgeous.
16. Bayer Family Estate - Eagle Point, Oregon
Bayer Family Estate is an 80-acre former ranch turned working vineyard in Eagle Point, with a Tuscan-inspired tasting room set right along the Rogue River. I loved photographing here because there's such a great mix of scenery — from the vineyard rows to the ponds lined with willow trees and water lilies, plus the surrounding pines for that lush, western-meets-wine-country feel. It's a gorgeous, laid-back setting that gives couples so much variety in their gallery, from rustic to romantic, all in one property.
17. Cascade Mountain Ranch - Hugo, Oregon
Cascade Mountain Ranch is a secluded, 50-acre wilderness venue tucked into the foothills between Mt. Sexton and Mt. Roberts in the little hamlet of Hugo. I love photographing here because the property offers so much variety — from the two mountain lodges to the lakes with a wooden bridge leading out to the island gazebo, plus the covered event deck overlooking the water for gorgeous golden-hour receptions. It's such a peaceful, rustic setting for couples who want that true mountain-getaway feel without straying too far from Grants Pass.
18. Diamond Lake - Umpqua National Forest, Douglas County
Diamond Lake is another unconventional but stunning option, tucked in the Umpqua National Forest between Mount Bailey and Mount Thielsen, just north of Crater Lake National Park. Since it's not a traditional venue, you'd need to rent one of the private homes right on the water and get the owner's permission to hold your ceremony there — but the payoff is worth it. I love photographing here because you get sweeping mountain views right over the lake, and the wild, forested setting gives every shot such a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path feel you just can't find at a typical venue.
